The hardest part of this engineering project is that I haven't been in class as often as I should, because of my schedule, and it isn't given me as much time to communicate with my group members in person. I prefer to speak in person since it allows questions to be answered faster and we end up getting more done. Another difficult part is coming up with potential ways to solve our problem. Toxic pigments in pastel dust is a very specific problem. We hope to find a way to some this problem in a broad way, so it doesn't have to be used just for pastel dust.
To help us with this, we conducted a survey and got feedback from our classmates. Getting ideas and feedback from multiple sources is important because if you spend too much time thinking of one way to solve something, it is difficult to find another way to do it. Another way to put it is that two heads are better than one. One person can think of things that the other person can't.
